What to bring with you?
Please use a 6 foot maximum length leash. No retractable leashes please.
All dogs must wear a flat collar/martingale that fits properly and will not slip over their head. You are welcome to also use a harness if that is your usual equipment, but please make sure it is well fitted and the dog cannot escape from it.
Bring treats your dog is excited about. (String Cheese, Turkey, Hot Dogs etc).
Bring a treat pouch or fanny pack to hold your treats in. (We have treat pouches available for purchase).
Guidelines Regarding Reactive Dogs
If your dog is reactive, has a bite record, or has shown aggression to dogs or people:
Please bring all the items listed above, as well as a muzzle if you have one.
A slip lead is available for safety measures as you enter the training center.
If you have a reactive or aggressive dog that needs space or is difficult to control on a leash: Please leave your dog in the car when you arrive and let us know you are here first.
*If you have a reactive dog and you are interested in the nosework classes please send an email to mydogsmindnh@gmail.com. You can talk with the nosework trainer and set up an evaluation to determine if the classes are a good fit.
